Note to Brides:
Father Carroll will no longer accept Friday evening weddings. He will be glad to refer you to an associate priest.
Please call Fr. Carroll to learn if he is available to celebrate your wedding when you have selected your date, time and place of wedding and have
confirmed that with your banquet hall or venue. Father Carroll will accept wedding date reservations from two months prior to the wedding up to 18 months. This will
allow us to meet and allow time for you to make selections for the ceremony.
Please call 908-925-4546 from 11AM to 7PM (except 12:30PM - 1PM and 5:30PM - 6PM), Monday through Friday. If Fr. Carroll is not there, please leave
a message with the exact date, time and place for the wedding. Fr. Carroll will try to get back to you the same day or the next at the latest.
When you have been given an appointment to visit Father Carroll, it is requested that you send in a deposit of $300 to hold your date. A refund
of $250 is available to you if requested within 3 days of your first meeting with Father Carroll. Please send your deposit to Rev. Carroll J. Mrowicki, 706 Lindegar
St., Linden, NJ 07036-5754. Indicate your date in the memo area of your check as follows: wed. dep. date. Otherwise your date will not be confirmed until you submit
your deposit, which you may do at your first meeting with Father Carroll.

Here is a listing of how I work to make your wedding dreams come true. May Christ's peace, love and joy be with you.
Two two-hour meetings to assist you with the planning and preparation of your wedding. Review of Fr. Carroll’s wedding portfolio and of the ritual for weddings.
Together for Life: a booklet which includes all the prayers and readings of the Catholic ritual for weddings. After prayer and reflection the couple is
to return a worksheet with their selections to Fr, Carroll. Or they may add a reading or poem of their own.
A program for the service: Fr. Carroll uses your selections of prayers and readings to create the order of your wedding. It is sent to you via e-mail. The
program may be copied as is or incorporated into a souvenir booklet to be given to all those attending the ceremony.
“A Decision to Love,” the best-selling marriage preparation program to improve couple communications. Fr. Carroll does not require a marriage prep. program
but offers this as a voluntary exercise to build important skills to help your marriage last.
Arrival at the wedding service one hour before time to see that everything is as you want it.
A personalized homily of instruction and reflection based on your selections and relating to your story.
A beautiful Unity candle ceremony that includes the mothers or fathers of each family, if you choose.
Choice of one of five wedding certificates, beautifully inscribed by a calligrapher.
A plastic binder with acid-free pages for safekeeping of your wedding certificate, the program, the homily and a copy of the face page of the license. All
presented upon your return from the honeymoon.
Sending your marriage license to the municipality and registering your wedding with CITI Ministries, Inc., 14 Middle St. Brunswick, ME 04011. (*)
Mailing the license and your sealed wedding certificate package with Certified Mail or Priority Mail with receipt requested to insure that it is properly
recorded and that you receive your signed and sealed certificate as a memento of your wedding.
Cost of services: The wedding preparation interviews, the program, the homily, the service, the vestments, the travel and the assembly of the package and
mailing usually takes between 18 and 22 hours of the priest’s time. The donations requested are a deposit of $300 to confirm the date and one month before the wedding
an additional $300. To confirm your date please send a deposit. Should you choose not to select Father Carroll, $250 of your deposit is refundable within three days
of your visit with him. A check is sent to the person who provided the deposit. Deposits are not refundable after dates are confirmed and 30 days have passed.
Weddings that are more than 60 miles roundtrip from Fr. Carroll’s home will require a mileage charge of one dollar per mile. Mileage charge is added to the second
payment made at the second meeting with Father Carroll prior to the wedding. Mileage is established using the Mapquest website.
Remember your wedding ceremony is one of the most important days or your life. It is the reason for everyone gathering. It should be prepared with great
care and reflection and in keeping with your wishes. Fr. Carroll restricts the number of weddings that he accepts so that he can give you all the personal attention
that you deserve.
